Guy is responsible for Property Training Solutions (PTS), LJ Hooker’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO), which provides accredited training and qualifications within the LJ Hooker network. The PTS courses enable salespeople and property investment managers to obtain their real estate licences and registration certificates and meet their continuing professional development requirements.
Guy joined LJ Hooker in 2002 as Sales Coach for the Future Champions Programme and trained LJ Hooker courses across the network. When the RTO was formed in 2004, Guy developed PTS’ training and assessment materials and launched traineeships in the ACT. He has subsequently developed licence and registration courses for NSW and Queensland, and launched traineeships in NSW.
The vision for PTS is to provide vocational qualifications in real estate, financial services and business administration right across the LJ Hooker network.
Guy has been involved in many aspects of the residential real estate business: sales and property management, mortgage financing and mortgage sales development through the real estate industry. Guy built a successful real estate business and buyer’s agency in western France, and after migrating to Australia became sales manager of a large Sydney real estate agency.
A qualified vocational workplace trainer and assessor trainer since 1995, Guy developed an accredited level 4 Business Management qualification for the outdoor sports and leisure industry in the UK, and has trained and assessed real estate agents in the UK and Australia. Guy’s qualifications include a Diploma in Business, and Certificate IV qualifications in Real Estate, Workplace Training and Assessment, and Financial Services.
Why you did you join LJ Hooker in the first place?
LJ Hooker was the only Australian real estate brand I had heard of in the UK, so when I was offered the position of Sales Coach for the Future Champions programme, I jumped at the opportunity to join one of the icons in real estate.
