A licensed real estate agent for many years, Grahame has extensive experience in property management, commercial and industrial sales, leasing and general residential practice in several states.
A veteran of 40 years with the Hooker Corporation, Grahame concluded his time as CEO, retiring in 2005. At the time of his elevation to the top job, the Hooker Corporation was in a poor profit position, having a mixed franchise and commission structure across independently operated state companies.
He was instrumental in restructuring the Hooker Corporation as a national operation and introducing numerous innovative systems that were world-firsts, most of which have since become the industry norm.
Grahame was recognised with the Woodrow Weight Award in 2004 for his services to the real estate industry and is a life member of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.
Grahame is keen to ensure that the Hooker Corporation stays at the forefront of technological development in real estate practice and looks forward to the company's continuing expansion in the greater Asian area.
